Wendy Johnson

Wound Care RN

In wound care, it's my job to help figure out why a patient isn't healing. A recipient of the American Legion Hero Award and wound care certified, I strive to place each patient in the best position to heal.

Healing can be a collaborative effort involving every aspect of healthcare. In my role as an RN, I enjoy being able to assess, determine obstacles, collaborate and advocate for patients to help remove the barriers getting in the way of their recovery. In doing so, I work to build close relationships with the patient and their support systems and families. The process of helping a patient heal from start to finish is truly rewarding.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening and playing pickleball. Outside of wound care, I enjoy watching Ducks football, softball and baseball.

Education & Training

From wound care clinics, medical outpatient offices, to acute inpatient hospital settings, over the 17 years of wound care experience has allowed me to become quite adept at learning and understanding how to assess wounds and treat them, in order to help our patients heal.
