Daniel V. Sheerin, MD

March / 23 / 2023

“I was involved in a terrible MVA overseas and was treated overseas including three orthopedic surgeries until stable for medivac to the USA. Dr. Sheerin was assigned to me once I was admitted to the hospital here. He was very thorough in reviewing my history and ordered more detailed scans of my injuries where he discovered poor aligned bones from the surgery preformed overseas. When Dr. Sheerin saw me for the first time he was very kind and had great beside manor. He graciously informed me of his findings and explained to me the effects of the maligned bones. He gave his recommendation which included revision of one of the surgeries I had done overseas just three weeks prior. He encouraged me to talk with my family and pray about my decision. Dr. Sheerin gave me a great sense of assurance in his presentation of my current situation and his ability to improve my maligned bones giving me the best possible outcome of the situation. As a result I agreed for the revision of the surgery and now nine weeks post surgery I have no pain in my properly aligned leg bones and have begun walking again! In all my follow up appointments, Dr. Sheerin has taken time to explain my healing process and answer all my questions without making me feel stupid or that I was taking up to much time! My husband and I really appreciate Dr. Sheerin, his skill, and thoroughness in my treatment.“
