2025 Scholarship Recipients Carry Forward a Legacy of Care
At Slocum Orthopedics, our mission has always extended beyond the exam room. We believe in fostering the future of healthcare by supporting young minds who will one day lead the charge in healing, innovation, and compassionate care. This year, the Slocum Research & Education Foundation proudly awarded six exceptional students with scholarships in recognition of their dedication to entering the healthcare field.
These scholarships honor the legacies of Dr. Stan James and Dr. Lou Osternig, two visionary leaders whose contributions helped shape the field of orthopedics and elevate care throughout the Eugene community and beyond. This year’s recipients embody the same values of service, curiosity, and perseverance.
