In addition to being the official sports medicine team physicians for University of Oregon Athletics since 1967, we are also proud sponsors of prominent arts organizations in the community.
Kidsports
Slocum is proud to be the official sports medicine doctors of Kidsports, the region’s leading provider of youth sports for K–8 athletes. Through this partnership, Slocum supports youth sports with funding, safety education, and medical guidance that helps parents, coaches, and young athletes stay informed, active, and safe. Together, Slocum and Kidsports are advancing healthy, active lifestyles for local youth.
Eugene Symphony
As sponsors of the Eugene Symphony’s Symphony Kids program since 2009, we support enrichment in our community through youth activities and the arts. Our mission through this partnership is to provide children with access to music education and encourage participation in music programs. The Eugene Symphony offers a variety of programs for our local youth, including Link Up, Youth Concerts, EYMA (Encouraging Young Musicians to Achieve), and Young Artist Competitions. In addition to providing access to music programs, the Eugene Symphony also helps students who are trying to advance their musical talents by continuing their education through artist residencies and the Laura Avery Visiting Masters classes.
