Marli House, OT, CHT
My experience as an occupational therapist includes acute care, orthopedic rehabilitation, outpatient pediatrics, and outpatient hand therapy. Specializing in upper extremity rehabilitation has confirmed that hand therapy is where I belong.
Before becoming an occupational therapist, I earned a bachelor's degree in fine art, and my background in sculpture and pottery has proven surprisingly valuable when designing custom splints for the hand, wrist, and elbow.
Slocum's collaborative approach to hand and upper extremity care, along with the opportunity to work closely with physicians and fellow therapists, made it an ideal place to continue growing as a clinician while providing exceptional care for patients.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy knitting, crocheting, reading, gardening, tackling home improvement projects, and biking to the local farmers market.
