Hannah Hourie-Collins, PT
My path to physical therapy began after earning a degree in Environmental Science and working as a wildland firefighter. Seeing the physical demands of that work and the potential for injury inspired me to pursue a career focused on helping people move better, recover from injury, and return to the activities that are meaningful to them. I believe that movement is medicine and enjoy working with individuals of all ages to improve function and quality of life.
My career has centered on outpatient orthopedic care, including post-operative rehabilitation, while also providing experience in home health and skilled nursing. I have pursued advanced training in manual therapy, rehabilitation Pilates, and pelvic health, and I am also a 200-hour certified yoga teacher.
Slocum's expertise in orthopedic and post-operative rehabilitation made it a natural fit for me. I value being part of a team dedicated to helping patients make meaningful progress throughout their recovery.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and our two dogs. Hiking, camping, yoga, dancing, exploring new places, and creative projects are some of my favorite ways to stay active and connected to nature.
