Description
This position is responsible for routine and emergent cleaning needs of an outpatient medical facility. This is a full time dayshift position.
- Clean the interior of the Slocum Center and affiliated properties, including floors, windows, and walls.
- Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools, and phones.
- Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed.
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Clean and maintain restrooms.
- Wash and clean windows and mirrors
- Dust furniture and fixtures
- Notify management of any concerns or unsafe conditions
- Offers assistance to guests when necessary
- Report in a timely manner to clean emergent situations as directed by management
- Adhere to all safety standards, policies & procedures, codes of conduct and best practices
- Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times with co-workers, vendors, patients, etc.
- Utilize materials, supplies, tools and other building property in a safe, productive manner
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements

- Understanding of the use of PPE and bloodborne pathogen safety standards
- Be able to take direction and follow instructions
- Must be safety conscious
