Alexandra Heffley, PA-C
I have worked in general orthopedics and the surgical side of podiatry since January 2025. My goal is to make sure patients feel heard, understand their options, and have a voice in their treatment plan. I want to help people get back to the activities they enjoy and feel supported throughout that process.
My interest in orthopedics started early. I spent 10 years as a competitive gymnast and experienced firsthand how injuries can affect you physically, mentally, and emotionally. I have also had two orthopedic surgeries myself, which gave me another perspective on what patients experience. Those experiences continue to shape how I approach care and reinforce my commitment to meeting patients where they are.
I was drawn to Slocum because of its strong reputation, positive patient outcomes, and commitment to serving this community and the surrounding region. I am excited for the opportunity to continue learning, grow in my career, and serve patients as part of the Slocum team. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, reading, puzzles, building Lego sets, and making things with my Cricut. I also love hiking, skiing, trips to the coast, and spending time with my dog.
