Arreanna Saylor, PT
Finding a career where I could make a meaningful difference in people's lives led me to physical therapy. From the first time I stepped into a physical therapy clinic, I knew I had found a profession that combined my passion for movement, lifelong learning, and helping others achieve their goals.
Before joining Slocum, I gained experience as a physical therapy aide in an orthopedic clinic and worked as a personal trainer and coach while earning my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at George Fox University. During my education, I contributed to research on aging and running that was published in Orthopedic Physical Therapy Practice and completed a clinical internship at Oregon Health & Science University focused on chronic pain and orthopedic rehabilitation. These experiences strengthened my commitment to providing evidence-based, individualized care for every patient.
Slocum's longstanding reputation for excellence in orthopedic care, its strong connection to the University of Oregon, and its collaborative approach to patient care made it the ideal place to begin my career. I value being part of a team that is dedicated to helping patients return to the activities they enjoy most.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy staying active through running, CrossFit, and snowboarding. I also love spending time with my husband and our two dogs, whether we're out for a walk or teaching them new tricks. When I'm not on the move, you'll often find me playing guitar or exploring other creative hobbies.
