Cat Ebert, PT
Watching patients regain strength, confidence, and the ability to return to the activities they love is one of the most rewarding parts of being a physical therapist. I enjoy partnering with each person throughout their recovery and celebrating the milestones that help them achieve their functional goals after surgery or injury.
After earning my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Ithaca College, I moved to Oregon and began my professional career at Slocum Orthopedics. Throughout my career, I have continued to expand my knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation, previously earning board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. I have also enjoyed sharing my passion for physical therapy by serving as a guest lecturer at the University of Oregon and presenting community wellness education.
Being part of Slocum has allowed me to collaborate with an exceptional team while providing individualized, evidence-based care to help patients achieve their goals. Seeing someone accomplish something they once thought impossible because of an injury is what inspires me every day.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy staying active through running, swimming, and hiking. As a former collegiate softball and rugby player, movement has always been an important part of my life. I also enjoy baking, reading, and cheering on my children while they play sports.
