Cory VanSteenwyk, PT

Specialty
Physical Therapist

Movement has always been an important part of my life, and I believe it is one of the most powerful tools for improving health and quality of life. As a physical therapist, I enjoy helping patients overcome pain, restore function, and gain the confidence and knowledge to take an active role in their recovery.

My background includes treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions, with a special emphasis on spine care. I am board certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (McKenzie Method). I enjoy combining evidence-based treatment with patient education, giving people the tools they need to manage their symptoms and return to the activities they enjoy.

Slocum Orthopedics' collaborative approach to patient care and strong partnership between therapists and surgeons made it a natural fit for me. Working alongside a talented team allows us to provide comprehensive, individualized care that helps patients achieve the best possible outcomes.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our children. Whether we're hiking, camping, weight training, going for walks, or simply playing together, I enjoy staying active with my family. I also enjoy following collegiate wrestling, participating in my local church community, and spending time with friends and family.
