Gerald Aggrey, MD
I’m thrilled to join the team at Slocum Orthopedics and continue the great work within the field of joint replacement.
As a board-certified and fellowship-trained physician and surgeon in joint replacement, it is tremendously rewarding to hear the excitement in the voices of patients when they describe being able to return to the activities they love. After receiving my medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, I went on to complete my orthopedic surgery residency at the Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, ranked as one of the nation’s best hospitals by U.S. News & World Report. I continued my education with a fellowship in adult reconstruction at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
I was drawn to join the Slocum team by the atmosphere of their commitment to providing excellent orthopedic care and addressing each patient’s specific needs. When I’m not working with patients, I enjoy playing ultimate frisbee, soccer, running, and exploring the outdoors with my wife and children.
