As the director of support services for Slocum Orthopedics, I have the opportunity to lead, manage, create and implement systems to ensure the best internal processes possible, working closely with our teams and departments to help our providers give the best patient care possible.
I enjoy working in patient care, from injury to recovery and am honored to be a part of the Slocum team where making a difference is a potential every day. In my free time, I enjoy CrossFit, running, hiking, water sports, and spending time with my family.

- Launched DME program from ground up including recruiting, hiring staff, identifying best overall inventory tracking system
- Led the development of internal processes to ensure correct, accurate and compliant billing practices
- Managed all aspects of department from purchasing, inventory management, training to claims review to ensure a profitable program
- Worked closely with providers to develop a personalized prescribing process for operative and non-operative procedures
- Created and implemented inventory purchasing guidelines and par levels for Central Supply and multiple clinical areas
- Monitored cost and profitability through cost-cutting and profit preserving measures
- Implemented a standardized stocking process for efficient product placement and use
- Developed and implemented a companywide communication process for clinical and administrative needs
- Identified cost vs reimbursement on medications to increase practice revenue
- Worked closely with all department heads to ensure smooth daily operations in regards to office supplies, clinical needs and maintenance issues.
