Laurel Langfield, PA-C
I have spent the last 3.5 years practicing general orthopedics as a physician assistant, and I am passionate about helping patients better understand their care. My goal is always to make sure patients leave with more answers than questions. I believe good care starts with listening, clear communication, and being honest.
I have always been drawn to science, and I credit my father, a woodworker, with helping spark my interest in orthopedics. Over time and through my own healthcare experiences, I came to understand how important it is for patients to truly understand their care. I strive to meet patients where they are, answer their questions clearly, and make sure they feel supported throughout their care.
I was drawn to Slocum because of its strong reputation for patient care and its commitment to this community. After working in this area for the past several years, I am excited to join the team and continue growing in orthopedics. Outside of work, you can usually find me outside. I enjoy camping, hiking, rock climbing, backpacking, yoga, rollerblading, and spending time with my dog. I also enjoy puzzles, building Lego sets, and sci-fi.
