Ryann Watson-Stites, PhD, ABPP/CN
Dr. Watson-Stites is a Board Certified Pediatric Neuropsychologist who joined the Slocum Sports Concussion Program in 2017. She has been involved in management of sport-related concussion since conducting neuropsychological baseline testing for the St. Louis Blues professional hockey team in the 1990’s and has clinically evaluated and treated youth with concussion as a medical school faculty member since 2003, first at University of Wisconsin Madison and then at Oregon Health & Science University.
In addition to her concussion specialty practice at Slocum, she maintains her faculty position at OHSU and teaches courses in cognitive assessment at the University of Oregon. She is passionate about both excellence in clinical care and clinical teaching. Dr. Watson-Stites provides neuropsychological evaluations for children and adolescents, characterizing cognitive and behavioral effects of medical conditions and helping families, schools, and health care providers develop plans for intervention, accommodation, and support services.
When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, attending youth soccer games, spending time in the woods and on the lake, hiking, running, cooking and reading.
