Steve Robert, PT
My passion for physical therapy grew from a lifelong interest in sports, personal experiences with injury, and an early exposure to healthcare through my father, a certified orthotist and prosthetist. I enjoy helping patients overcome challenges, regain function, and achieve the goals that matter most to them, no matter their age or stage of life.
Before joining Slocum , I worked in an outpatient rehabilitation setting specializing in joint replacement and spine care. That experience strengthened my passion for orthopedic rehabilitation and prepared me to care for a wide variety of patients. I value the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with those I treat and work alongside them throughout their recovery.
Slocum's reputation as a leader in orthopedic surgery, innovation, and rehabilitation made it a natural place to continue my career. Being part of a great team dedicated to exceptional patient care allows me to provide individualized treatment that helps patients return to the activities they enjoy.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife. Whether I'm fly fishing for trout, chasing salmon on the coast, hiking, watching sports, or setting out on a new adventure, I enjoy every opportunity to stay active and explore the Pacific Northwest.
