“My visits with Dr. Shah were more than I expected. He was courteous, very professional, and to the point. I asked him to not “sugar-coat” his diagnosis and to tell me the good, bad, and the ugly about my deteriorating hips. Because of this, I was able to go into surgery with a very positive attitude; knowing full well what was going to happen and what could happen if there were problems. Personally, I would rather know what to expect, both good and bad, and make any decisions from an informed standpoint rather than making un-informed decisions on the fly. As it stands right now, the double total hip replacement surgery was a total success and I know what I can and can’t do to increase my recovery time and that has helped me immensely. The staff that Dr. Shah assembled for the pre-op interviews, the post-op interviews, and the required care in between times, has been outstanding in my opinion.
