Minimally invasive shoulder arthroscopy for joint problems
Shoulder arthroscopy with lysis/resection of adhesions is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to diagnose and treat shoulder joint problems. During the procedure, a small camera called an arthroscope is inserted into the shoulder joint through a small incision. The surgeon can then visualize the joint and remove any adhesions or scar tissue that may be causing pain or limiting mobility. This procedure is typically performed on an outpatient basis and has a shorter recovery time compared to traditional open surgery.
