Supported by contributions from the currently practicing orthopedic surgeons and doctors at Slocum Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, the Slocum Research & Education Foundation is pleased to accept applications for the 2018 College Scholarship Program for High School Seniors. In 2017, the Slocum Foundation awarded $1,500 to six talented and well-rounded students who plan to pursue a career in healthcare, health-related research, public or community health.

The Slocum Foundation’s mission is to improve musculoskeletal care across the lifespan through community-based research, education and collaboration. Supporting the development of future health professionals through our annual scholarship program is one way we work to achieve our goal. The scholarship program is made possible through a generous grant from the physicians and surgeons at the Slocum Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine.
