New Fellowship-Trained Hand Surgeon Available in Eugene

Dr. Heather A. Campion joins Slocum Center for Orthopedics Sports Medicine

EUGENE, Ore. (Aug. 26, 2013) Dr. Heather A. Campion is the newest orthopedic surgeon to join the expert team of doctors at Slocum Center for Orthopedics Sports Medicine at 55 Coburg Road in Eugene. As a board-eligible, fellowship-trained hand surgeon, Dr. Campion‚ expertise includes all areas of surgical and nonsurgical hand care, including treatment for carpal tunnel, trigger finger, Dupuytren’s contracture, and fractures of the fingers, Hand and Wrist, and wrist.

A Eugene native and graduate of Marist High School, Dr. Campion graduated summa cum laude from The University of Notre Dame prior to receiving her doctorate of medicine, cum laude, from Loyola University of Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. After receiving specialized training in orthopedic surgery as a resident at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Dr. Campion completed advanced fellowship training in hand surgery at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
