September / 26 / 2017

Dr. Brian Jewett has succeeded Dr. Thomas Wuest as practice president at Slocum Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine.

Dr. Jewett has practiced his specialty of hip and knee replacement with the Slocum Center for over fifteen years and has served as a leader at Slocum, local hospitals, and local and national organizations. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is fellowship-trained in adult joint reconstruction. While at Slocum, Dr. Jewett has been influential in the development of the RENEW Joint Replacement Center and continues to innovate technologies in the care of patients with arthritis.

“I am honored to take on the role of practice president and carry on the legacy left by Dr. Wuest,” says Dr. Jewett. “Tom has served and led our group well over the years, and now, with all of the coming changes in healthcare, I am excited to help guide the Slocum Center into the future.”

Dr. Jewett joined Slocum Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in 2001. He is a member and leader of several professional associations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Western Orthopaedic Association, the North Pacific Orthopaedic Society, and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
