This past weekend, over 100 Slocum Orthopedics employees and family members joined the Eugene community for one of our favorite local traditions, the Eugene Marathon weekend. While some team members tackled the full and half marathons, the largest showing came in the 5K, where more than 100 of us crossed the finish line together.

It was a morning full of movement, smiles, and shared purpose. Whether running, walking, or cheering one another on, we came out as a team to celebrate everything we stand for: staying active, supporting wellness, and showing up for the community we love.

We Believe in Moving Well, Together

Helping people move better is what we do every day at Slocum. Events like this give us a chance to live that mission in a new way. Being part of the Eugene Marathon is meaningful, and it reminds us why we care so much about motion, strength, and connection, both for our patients and for ourselves.

As a proud partner of TrackTown USA, we are committed to supporting events that promote movement and celebrate Eugene’s legacy as a city of runners. The Eugene Marathon is a reflection of that spirit, and we’re thrilled to be part of it.

The Eugene Marathon weekend is one of many opportunities where Slocum team members come together outside the clinic to celebrate movement, health, and local spirit. We are proud of everyone who showed up, pushed themselves, and supported one another throughout the day.
