Members of Slocum Center for Orthopedics Sports Medicine Lead Construction Mission Trip to Haiti
Slocum Center for Orthopedics Sports Medicine is not only dedicated to serving and supporting their patients and community but also impacting the world. Recently, a team of nine members and associates of Slocum Center for Orthopedics Sports Medicine teamed up to build needed structures and provide facility maintenance in Limbe, Haiti, during their yearly construction mission trip.

The team focused on completing multiple small projects during this year’s trip to restore the hospital grounds and facilities, including restocking the pharmacy, building trusses, providing needed maintenance to the maternity ward, and finishing the Berma house roof.
Beyond the 32,000 patients Slocum Center for Orthopedics Sports Medicine cares for each and every year, the doctors and staff are committed to their community and others as well as to bringing support and assistance.
