Slocum Orthopedics Announces New CEO
Todd Salnas is stepping into a new role as CEO starting July 17 at Slocum Orthopedics. He has over 26 years of leadership experience, including as CEO and Chief Executive at PeaceHealth Oregon. Before working at PeaceHealth Oregon, he served as president of St. Joseph Health – Sonoma County in California; chief operating officer for Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in Whittier, California; and COO of Phoenix Baptist Hospital in Phoenix.
“I am dedicated to being a leader in healthcare as I enjoy working with teams to make a difference in people’s lives,” he says. “This includes not only addressing patients’ medical bills, but also making human connections that make a difference in the patients and families lives by serving them with dignity and compassion. I choose to lead with purpose and help our caregivers and providers see the impact they can make in the lives of those we serve.”
Slocum’s previous CEO, Keith Clark, is retiring to spend more time with his family and his first grandchild. Keith leaves an 11-year legacy of exceptional leadership, including the recruitment of 16 new physicians.
Todd Salnas has a bachelor’s degree in health sciences from the University of Arizona and a dual master’s degree in business administration and health services administration from Arizona State University. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife and 3 children. He also enjoys attending and participating in his children’s sporting events, as well as running, biking, reading, and going to music concerts.
