Ethiopia Hospital Providing Care to Area Residents With Donated Equipment

Shinshicho Hospital in Shinshicho, Ethiopia, is now up and running and utilizing donated X-ray equipment from Slocum Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. Implant Recall

DePuy Orthopedics has issued a voluntary recall of its ASR XL Acetabular Hip System and DePuy ASR Hip Resurfacing System. Slocum Center doctors have not used these systems in our patients. If you underwent a hip replacement with a Slocum physician, this recall does not affect your implant.
