Slocum Center for Orthopedics Sports Medicine has been named the signature sponsor for the Oregon Triple Crown series of cycling events. The first of the three annual events took place on May 31, in Cottage Grove. The second event will take place on August 2, at Philomath, and September 26, at Waldport, Oregon.

“Due to their commitment to the health and wellness of area athletes, we are proud to sponsor the Oregon Triple Crown Series events, and we welcome the chance for participants to explore our great state of Oregon,” says Dr. Daniel Sheerin, orthopedic trauma specialist at Slocum Center for Orthopedics Sports Medicine and official medical director of the Oregon Triple Crown Series.

Annually, these three events will include biking a total of 272 miles and 21,500 feet of elevation changes. Finishers of the Oregon Triple Crown will receive a jersey to showcase their achievements and commitment to overall health and wellness.
