Julian Klosowiak, MD, PhD
I was drawn to hand surgery for its complexity, creativity, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' daily lives. At Slocum, I found a collaborative team that values excellence, innovation, and personalized care.
As a fellowship-trained hand and microvascular surgeon with a background in plastic surgery, biomedical engineering, and academic research I enjoy bringing a unique skill set to treating a variety of conditions in the upper extremity and throughout the body, and I am dedicated to treating patients with compassion and respect. My practice focuses on restoring form and function to the hand and upper extremity, treating conditions involving nerves, tendons, bones, and soft tissue. I have specialized training in microsurgery, flap reconstruction, and nerve procedures such as nerve transfers and targeted muscle reinnervation.
Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors and staying active by hiking, biking, sailing, and snowboarding. I love to travel, and speak several languages, including Polish, French, and Spanish. I'm excited to call Oregon home and serve this incredible community.
