Rudolf G. Hoellrich, MD
Throughout my years at Slocum as a physician, I've had access to great mentors and team members and together, we've successfully been able to publish our own research studies in collaboration with the Slocum Education and Research Foundation.
Additionally, Slocum's culture of excellence has allowed me educate and mentor athletic training students at the University of Oregon, serve as an orthopedic consultant and team physician for the Oregon Ducks, and become an associate member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Society. I believe in a team-oriented approach involving the patient, family, and therapists focused on devising the best plan of treatment for each individual.
Whether an elite athlete, a weekend warrior, or an injured worker, my ultimate goal is to restore my patients to the highest possible level of work, play, or sport by providing compassionate care with a commitment to excellence.

Credentials
I have been blessed to have had access to great mentors throughout my surgical training and great team members during my years here at Slocum. Through these relationships and partnerships, I have been able to attain career milestones such as publishing results of our own research studies through collaboration with the Slocum Education and Research Foundation, educating and mentoring athletic training students at the University of Oregon, serving as an orthopedic consultant and team physician for the Ducks, and becoming an associate member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Society. Much credit for these accomplishments goes to the culture of teamwork that was established by the founding members and my predecessors here at the Slocum center.
