About
I chose to become an orthopedic surgeon because I wanted to improve patients’ lives and help them get back to enjoying the activities they love.
I believe each patient is unique, which is why I take a personalized treatment approach. After discussing a patient’s goals and desires, I work with them to come up with a treatment plan that not only improves their function and decreases their pain but also gets them back to living an active life.
In his free time, Dr. Bear enjoys spending time with his family, staying active by exercising and hiking, and volunteering locally as well as in other countries on surgical missions.
